Insider Tips on Picking a New Core Math Curriculum with Ellen Edmonds

Session Description

Whatever the standards are for your school, diocese, or state, educators agree that a core math program must contain certain elements to propel student achievement. Ellen Edmonds offers a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes considerations beyond what publishers want you to know. She provides more than a checklist of basics and shares her experience in how to navigate a crowded field of good programs so that school leaders can discern what components and support will be most valuable. As a former district administrator, Ellen shares how to spot potentially competing interests so that the needs of your school, your teachers, and your students come first.
