The Turkey's Talking Vocabulary Activity, K–12

Written by Vocab Gal | Nov 14, 2014 5:55:00 PM

How can a turkey get out of Thanksgiving without being eaten? By describing how delicious all the other foods at the table are, of course!

Your students’ task this November is to make your turkeys talk…with as many vocabulary words describing the REST of the Thanksgiving feast as possible. Have your students compete over who can create the zaniest descriptions, the most gourmet descriptions, even the grossest descriptions of the Thanksgiving meal –all in an attempt to prevent being “eaten.”

Download The Turkey's Talking Vocabulary Activity for your classroom. May the pens be mightier than the carving knives!
