Background- Julie is a writer and creative consultant for Sadlier, She contributed to the We Believe Program is a coauthor of the teacher guides for Sadlier's Discovering God program and writes Proclaiming Faith for the We Believe web site.

- Julie served as Assistant Principal and music director at the St. Mary Early Learning Center in Lafayette, Lousiana.
- Julie cofounded an educational forum to promote the development of multicurricular instruction for preschool age children.
- Teaming with Sadlier consultant Renée McAlister, Julie has conducted numerous educational workshops, in all areas of the curriculum, for educators of children from preschool through junior high. These have included workshops at the National Catholic Education Association convention.
- Julie received a B.A. in elementary education from the University of Southwestern Louisana and a B.A. in religious studies from Loyola University of the South.
