Dulce M. Jiménez-Abreu
Background- Dulce is currently the director of Spanish programs for Sadlier. A professor and translator of religion material, she has contributed greatly to the development of Sadlier's bilingual materials.
- Since her arrival in this country from the Dominican Republic in 1987, Dulce has been involved in the preparation of materials for the Spanish-speaking population of the United States. She worked as translator-editor for the Christophers for more than seven years. She has also translated books and articles for Alba House, for the office for catechesis of the archdiocese of New York, and for the newspaper Catholic New York. Before coming to New York Dulce taught for twelve years at the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña in the Dominican Republic.
- Dulce has presented numerous workshops in Spanish on the integration of Spanish-speaking culture to catechesis and on practical ways to teach bilingual children.
- Dulce holds a bachelor's degree from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña in Santo Domingo and a master's degree from Michigan State University, and a master's degree in Spanish Literature from Lehman College.
Dulce's engaging presentation style allows her audience to participate in the learning process. She uses well-told stories to illustrate her topics and offers question-and-answer sessions to provide her audiences with an opportunity to deepen their understanding.

Dulce is well versed in the areas of evangelization, bilingual catechesis, catechist formation, the challenge of Hispanic catechesis, and the use of bilingual materials in religious education. Dulce also enjoys presenting workshops on signs and symbols of Hispanic culture, and bilingual prayer and education.
