Sadlier Celebrates Catechetical Sunday - Sept. 20, 2009

All of us at Sadlier join with parishes across the country in honoring all catechists--of adults, youth and children, on Catechetical Sunday.
This year's theme is "Catechesis and the Proclamation of the Word" and free downloadable resources are available at www.usccb.org in the Publications section.
Sadlier has several free resources to help you focus on Scripture and Proclaim the Word this year:
- a series of articles on Scripture by Father Don Senior,
- a Gather in My Name event on Scripture for whole parish catechesis
- a Question of the Week based on each Sunday's Scripture readings
- discussion questions for adults and activities for children based on the Sunday readings
