Sadlier Brothers Inducted into the 2008 Educational Publishing Hall of Fame12/10/08
Leaders from the educational publishing industry were present at the annual ceremony as Frank Sadlier Dinger, Chairman of the Board, and William Sadlier Dinger, President of William H. Sadlier, Inc. were honored by the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) with induction into the association's prestigious Hall of Fame.
Recognized as visionaries in educational publishing, inductees are chosen by the AEP Board of Directors for their lifetime of achievement, commitment, and dedication to the educational publishing industry. Frank and Bill Dinger are currently at the helm of their family-owned and -managed company celebrating its remarkable 176th year in publishing.
The Dingers are the great-grandsons of William H. Sadlier, whose uncles, Denis and James Sadlier, founded the company in 1832. During their tenure as the company's top executives, Sadlier has grown significantly in the number and diversity of published titles in religion and academic disciplines, increased its sales volume and representation, and developed innovative technological applications for its products and Web sites.
The Dingers were acknowledged for their immeasurable impact on both the religion and school publishing industries, as they continue to provide PreK-12 educators, catechists, children, and families with excellent, high-quality print and online programs in catechetics, mathematics, reading and language arts.
"I am very proud that Sadlier has made a commitment to the U.S. Latino Community to publish bilingual catechetical programs with the same graphic and intellectual quality as those that are available for the greater English-speaking population," stated Bill Dinger.
"We are known as 'The Family Company.' We try hard to create an atmosphere where each person can contribute his or her skills, knowledge, and experience to the success of the whole," said Frank Dinger.
Their commitment to excellence and the integrity and achievements of the Dingers have inspired employees, loyal customers, and industry colleagues.
