Vocabulary for Success featured on The Balancing Act on Lifetime Television!

With the increased expectations of Common Core State Standards and raised bar for standardized tests and graduation requirements, we're all—educators and parents alike—looking for ways to help our children succeed in school. On Wednesday, May 9 at 7:00 Eastern/Pacific, Vocabulary for Success authors Dr. Douglas Fisher and Dr. Nancy Frey will offer suggestions about how to support middle schoolers on The Balancing Act on Lifetime Television.
Dr. Fisher and Dr. Frey work on this challenge every day with middle and high school students in their classrooms at the Health Sciences High and Middle College. They are also Professors of Language and Literacy Education in the school of Teacher Education at San Diego State University.
Joining them on the segment will be Nancy Poliseno, the President of the Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE).
