Alfred S. Posamentier Retires

Dr. Alfred S. Posamentier and William Sadlier Dinger celebrate Dr. Posamentier’s retirement as Dean, School of Education and Professor of Mathematics Education, The City College, The City University of New York at a recent gathering marking the event. Dr. Posamentier, the author of the Sadlier-Oxford Progress in Mathematics series, Grades K-8, is also known internationally as a mathematician/writer of more than 40 books and many articles published world-wide on the “Power and Beauty of Mathematics”. Dr. Posamentier has also written two Sadlier Professional Development papers – Motivating Middle School Students: The Critical Part of Lesson Planning in Mathematics, and Problem Solving: Building Strategic Competence, available free online.
