Yes, I am a HUGE fan of Lauren Oliver ever since I read Before I Fall; it absolutely blew my mind. Essentially it is the story of a snotty cheerleader who learns a very hard lesson about the consequences of living a shallow, popular life. It is still in my top 10 favorite YA books of all time.

Next, her Delirium series is an awesome trilogy in the vein of The Hunger Games, but a little more realistic and with a fantastic ending. Needless to say, when I had the opportunity to interview her, I tried not to gush too much.
Interestingly, I think she sounds very much like Maggie Stiefvater in her love of language, her passion regarding writing and her sense of humor. I so appreciate Lauren’s answers and can’t wait to read her newest book-Panic. Enjoy!
